Anil Kapoor’s this summer release ‘Thar’ was a western-noir-inspired fiction released on Netflix. The actor-producer of the film went on to express his honor on social media when the film was placed fourth in the Ormax Report. Kapoor’s tweet made the movie gain some attention, leaving the readers intrigued.

‘Mr. India’ (1987) actor is rightly attracting his audience with his experimental choices and the Ormax Report is a witness to that. The action thriller is one set in the ’80s and thanks to the actor’s choice of cinemas, the audience can witness a more bold and raw side of the big screen. The critics went on to appreciate the actor’s choice of movies and we are undeniably in awe of them.

By choosing such an intense narrative, the actor is just raising the bar for the actors to come. With multiple hits and adding ‘Thar’ to the list, the actor has proved that no genre is a bar for him. The talented actor that he already is has also proved that he greatly fits the role of a producer too. From producing ‘Badhaai Ho Badhaai’ (2002), ‘Gandhi My Father’ (2007) to ‘Thar’ (2022), Anil Kapoor has left no stones unturned.

The father-son duo, Anil and Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor have received great applause for their fervent acting and production of the film. Directed by Raj Singh Chaudhary, the movie also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh, revolving around the violent killings that take place in the Thar desert in Rajasthan. The plot is packed with action and a one to watch with eyes wide open and heart throbbing.
