Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh and Tabu-starrer romantic comedy ‘De De Pyaar De’ (2019) completed four years of it’s release yesterday. The film was a hit at the box office and worked mainly thanks to its super-hit music and the electrifying chemistry between Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. Directed by Akiv Ali, the film focuses on Ashish (played by Ajay Devgn), a middle-aged NRI who falls in love with Ayesha (played by Rakul Preet Singh), a young woman who is almost half of his age and decides to marry her.
Taking a stroll down memory lane, on Wednesday, Tabu reshared a video from a fan page on Instagram with the caption, “#4yearsofdedepyaarde”. The video featured some of the scenes of the actress from the film.
On the other hand, Rakul Preet shared a photo from the movie on her Instagram story, with the caption, “I can’t believe it’s been 4 years.. thankyouu to the entire team for an amazing memorable experience. Ayesha will always be very very special. #4yearsofddpd.”
‘De De Pyaar De’ was jointly produced by Luv Ranjan and T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar. Last year, it was reported that the makers are planning a sequel to the romantic comedy with the lead cast. However, there have been no official confirmation.
