25 years of Dil Toh Pagal Hai: Madhuri Dixit recreates her favourite song ‘Are Re Are Ye Kya Hua’ to celebrate the Silver Jubilee

‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’ is an all-time favourite romantic musical film for the Indians. Though it was released in 1997, the film enjoys a huge fan following even among the youngsters of today. The film starred Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor in the leads and viewers loved how it depicted love triangle between the trio with a musical touch. No wonder the film was a blockbuster at the box office.

The Yash Raj Chopra directorial completed its Silver Jubilee (25 years) on October 30. On this special occasion, Madhuri Dixit and Karishma Kapoor took to their respective social media handles to celebrate the special occasion uniquely, which was quite overwhelming to watch.

‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’ is a great combination of love songs, sad songs and fun and party songs like “Dil Toh Pagal Hai”, “Are Re Are Ye Kya Hua”, “Bholi Si Surat”, “Pyaar Kar”, “Le Gayi”, which can make you experience a rollercoaster of emotions within three hours. The film also stared Akshay Kumar, Deven Varma, Farida Jalal, Aruna Irani in pivotal roles and they all had their special moments. The credit for it also goes to Yash Chopra’s expert direction.

Another person who did a brilliant job is choreographer Shaimak Davar. He made us realise without vulgarity, dance can also be eye-catching and hence, he even won a National Film Award for this film, rightfully so.

On the occasion of Silver Jubilee, Madhuri Dixit recreated the dance steps of her in the song “Are Re Are Ye Kya Hua”, which she revealed is her favorite song. She seemed to have a lot of fun while dancing and looked quite cheerful. The recreation has absolutely impressed fans. The actress looked gorgeous in all red ensemble. She wrote in the caption, “Celebrating 25 years of ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’ with my favorite song of the movie. Which one is yours? #25YearsOfDTPH @yrf.”

On the other hand, Karisma Kapoor, who won the National Award for Best Supporting Actress, shared some special behind-the-scene pictures to commemorate the film and wrote, “Memories that last forever.” This got fans super nostalgic.
