‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ has completed ten years, since its release in 2013. It is still unbelievable for us, including the actors, that how fast time passes by. The film is still fresh in our memories and seems like it will remain the same a decade later as well.

The film reminded many of their time spend with friends in college. Not because of the romance, but ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ holds a special place in our hearts because of its coming-of-age story that captured the essence of growing up in our twenties when we were carefree and restless in our lives.

For many viewers, ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ is Ayan Mukerji’s best film till date. Not a single part of the film is off or fails to entice and this proves the quality of Mukerji’s work.

Songs like “Baadtameez Dil”, “Balam Pichkari”, “Dilliwaali Girlfriend”, “Subhanallah” and “Ilahi” were chartbusters before and still continue to be chartbusters.

Recently, Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kalki Koechlin, Ayan Mukerji, Karan Johar and the crew reunited for ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’s tenth anniversary. While sharing the pictures, Deepika wrote the nostalgic line from the film in the caption, “Yaadien mithai ke dibbe ki tarah hoti hain…Ek baar khula, toh sirf ek tukda nahi kha paoge (Memories are like a box of sweets. Once you open it, you cannot stop at one-Naina Talwar).”

Evelyn Sharma, who played the iconic role of Lara, also shared a number of snaps from the film and wrote a nostalgic caption, “Has it been 10 years already?! Crazy how life has changed since then! But how good is it to go back and watch YJHD again? #favmovie.”

Just like Evelyn, it also amazes us as well how life changes and moments become nostalgic within few years.
